it had to be
to hide the torn parts
the unfinished masterpiece
the unwantedness painted on it
The Canvas was painted black
it wants to be
to show its beauty
to stand out
to hide no more
to start a new masterpiece
filled with many different colors
blended like coffee
dark and strong
The Canvas was painted black
it is proud to be
finally completed
ready to be placed somewhere safe
to be seen by many people
to be loved
to be adored
You will not see its unwanted part anymore
not because it is hidden
but because it became one with itself
